Our Vision
The HUSTLE Hearts Foundation strives to strengthen the chances of prospective college students pursuing their aspirations by alleviating the pressure of financial burdens and bridging the college achieving gap for Latinos.
Why We Exist
RESEARCH SHOWS
Arizona is the fifth largest Latino population in the country.
Hispanics comprised the largest students enrolled in pre-k through 12 classrooms in Arizona
The median household income in 2020 for the Arizona Hispanic population was $52,399, more than $14,000 less than non-Hispanic Whites.
Latinos in Arizona graduate at a higher rate than their non-Hispanic White peers at four-year institutions. However, Arizona lags in Latinos’ degree completion and overall degree attainment.
